About this piece

Blue leaf shapes across white cotton — cool, clean, and botanical. The blue here is a steady mid-tone, neither too light nor too deep, and the leaf shapes spread across the cloth in an easy, unhurried arrangement.

Each leaf was traced in wax individually before the blue went on. The wax edge where blue meets white carries that characteristic batik softness — a slight blur that no digital print can replicate and that makes the design feel like it grew out of the cloth rather than being applied to it.
