About this piece
Pink and black circles across white cotton — the contrast is sharp but the hand-dyeing softens it just enough. The circles are large and well-spaced, giving the cloth a bold, graphic quality that still feels comfortable to wear at home.
The circle boundaries are wax lines drawn before the dye went on. Where the two colours meet the white cotton ground, the slight blurring at each edge stops the pattern from feeling mechanical. The geometry is intentional; the imprecision is honest.
