About this piece
Pink flowers on white cotton — blush and open, the blooms are spaced generously across the cloth and the pink is soft enough to feel gentle without being washed out. A floral night gown that's easy to wake up in.
The petals were outlined in wax before the fabric was dyed, each one a single continuous stroke that determines the flower's character. No two flowers in this pattern are drawn from exactly the same wrist movement, and the small differences between them are what the eye follows when it moves across the cloth.
