About this piece
Leaf green flowers — a yellow-leaning green that sits closer to spring than forest. The blooms are light and fresh against the white cotton, the kind of floral that feels as easy in daylight as it does as nightwear. The colour has a gentle brightness that doesn't demand anything from the wearer.
The wax outlines for each petal were drawn before the fabric met the dye. Where the green dye moved into the cloth at different rates — slightly heavier where it pooled, lighter where it spread thin — the flowers gained a tonal variation that printed fabric never achieves.
