About this piece

Blush pink flowers on white cotton — soft and open, the way a flower looks when it's just past full bloom. The pink is gentle, the kind that flatters without demanding attention, and the white ground gives it plenty of room.

The petal shapes were drawn in wax one by one, then the fabric was dyed. Where the wax broke or shifted slightly during the process, the pink crept in just a little — those small imperfections are what stop the pattern from looking manufactured.
