About this piece
Forest green flowers across white cotton — the green is deep and full, and the blooms are spread generously across the cloth. Against the white ground the colour has a freshness that works particularly well as nightwear — cool enough to feel restful, vivid enough to feel considered.
Each petal was outlined in wax before the green dye went on. The blooms don't follow a perfectly regular grid — the artisan's spacing shifts slightly across the cloth — and that variation is what gives the pattern its natural, garden-grown quality.
