About this piece
Blue shading up into yellow — cool at the hem and warm at the top, or the other way depending on how you see it. The two colours sit at opposite ends of the warm-cool spectrum and the gradient between them passes through greens and teals that neither colour alone would produce.
This is the most colour-complex of the shaded night gowns. The meeting of blue and yellow in the dye process creates transitional tones that aren't planned but are a natural consequence of the chemistry. Every piece comes out with a slightly different green in the middle.
